Curator’s tapeless workflow solution provides efficient population of an IPV WM9 proxy media library sourced from file based high-resolution assets transcoded at faster than real time and real time SDI based content along with existing IPV proxy media and associated metadata.

Communities of desktop PC and Apple Mac users can simultaneously search for and efficiently access the proxy media and metadata using sophisticated tools to fulfil their workflows. Sub-clip editing, review and approval, media annotation and general proxy media / metadata viewing are all easy with Curator as the media is timecode aware and frame accurate. Advanced desktop tools for editing and annotation are complimented by advance media transport controls with scene detection, video thumbnails and multi-track audio.

Curator incorporates IPV’s world renown SpectreView technology enabling viewing and repurposing of proxy files even whilst the ingest or transcode is still taking place so no valuable time is lost.

The Curator system comprises of a number of modular software and hardware building blocks - core system components, administration and ingest consoles together with encoding and transcoding devices.
